Can I use my YouView box after leaving BT?
B: the customer can continue to use the YouView box as a perfectly good digital video recorder.
The only thing that will cease to work are the BT subscription channels (and any recordings from those channels) and the BT TV app.
All other functions remain intact..
Can I keep my BT TV box?
If you have completed your initial BT YouView contract with your original box, then the box is yours to keep.

If you have a current BT TV contract then if the supplied box is faulty and requires replacement then it should be replaced.
What happens when my BT TV contract ends?
You can be charged an early termination fee and equipment fee with 1 day left on the contract, so always best to choose the switch date on or after your minimum term ends. You can however negotiate a new promotion in your last 90 days of the minimum term, a new contract would replace the old contract without penalty.
